In a match-up of former conference foes, Bellevue girls got the best of Issaquah with a strong fourth quarter.

The Wolverines, nursing a 32-31 lead, outscored the Eagles 11-8 in the final frame to get a key non-conference victory in Bellevue on Saturday.

Bellevue (7-4, 2-1 KingCo 3A/2A) received 13 points from Catelyn Webber and Emilie Gilbert chipped in 10 in the victory.

The Eagles (5-3, 3-1 KingCo 4A) displayed a balanced attack with nine different players scoring points. Alexa Smith led Issaquah with seven points.

Interlake 51, Sammamish 14

Interlake limited the Totems to three points in every quarter except the fourth and the Saints dashed past Sammamish 51-14.

Sarah Anderegg had 13 points for Interlake (9-1, 1-1 KingCo 3A/2A) and Nusha Ghassemikia, Litia Ngauamo and Sara Ostlund all scored eight points in the win.

Sammamish (0-7, 0-4) was led by Zoe Gano with five points in the loss.

Issaquah 54, Newport 47

Erin Nicol scored 17 points as Issaquah defeated Newport 54-47 in a key KingCo 4A clash.

Newport took a 39-37 lead into the fourth quarter but the Eagles dominated the final frame, outscoring the Knights 19-10. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Newport (6-2, 3-2 KingCo 4A).

Junior Betsy Kingma scored 19 points in the loss for the Knights.

Bellevue Christian 61, Forest Ridge 20

The Vikings went on a 16-1 first quarter run and never looked back as they tripled up Forest Ridge 61-20.

Terra Oldham led Bellevue Christian (6-1, 3-0 Emerald City League) with 16 points. Forest Ridge (1-6, 1-2) was led by Aaron Kitchen with six points.
