Drivers should plan for possible delays on westbound Interstate 90 in Bellevue this weekend as crews close the highway at night. This work is part of a project to seismically retrofit several bridges on I-90 and SR 520 to help them better withstand earthquakes. During the closure crews will remove shoring and pave the highway.
·Friday, Oct. 7 – the morning of Saturday, Oct. 8: Crews will close all westbound lanes of I-90 at Richards Road from 11:30 p.m. until 6:30 a.m.
· Saturday, Oct. 8 – the morning of Sunday, Oct. 9: Crews will close all westbound lanes I-90 at Richards Road from 11:59 p.m. until 7 a.m. This closure may be canceled if the work is completed on Friday night.
Traffic will be detoured onto southbound I-405 to Coal Creek Parkway, back to northbound I-405 and westbound I-90.
