Bellevue Utilities crews expect to have water restored to 23 homes in the Surrey Downs neighborhood by the end of the day following an early morning water main break on the 900 block of 110th Avenue Southeast.
Bellevue firefighters first responded to a 911 call around 3 a.m. and shut off water to mains in the area when it was discovered a 6-inch main had broken. Three homes suffered water damage, and crews are contacting residents to determine if any other homes were affected.
Utilities crews will be replacing 18 feet of water main at 110th, and the city reports traffic impacts are minimal and a detour has been set up.
The cause of the break is not yet known.
