The Corner Book Shop at Bellevue Regional Library will present a distinctive collection of history books for sale Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 23, 24, 25.
The collection of approximately 300 books, at an average price of about $5 has special appeal for all history buffs and especially those who have served in the armed forces.
The event is made possible though a gift of books donated by a former army officer. It is a well-edited collection of hard cover books of exceptional quality. Included are titles covering US wars starting with the Revolutionary War through The Korean War. There is emphasis on World War 1 and 11. Also included are books on Asian and early European conflicts as well as biographies, memoirs and historic novels.
The Corner Book Store is sponsored by the Bellevue Friends of the Library. The Book Shop is operated and staffed by volunteers selling donated books. Profits are used to fund projects for adults and children, providing additional services at all King Country libraries.
The Book Shop is located just inside of the south entrance to the library and is open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
