The Washington Center for Pain Management plans to ramp up work in Bellevue over the next year with a move to a new office at 1900 116th St. near Overlake Hospital.

The center specializes in providing a multi-disciplinary approach to pain management, accounting for biological, psychological and sociological factors in a patient’s life that could contribute to their pain.

“We bought the building, and we’re open there five days per week and getting busy,” Matt Wavra, the clinic’s director of business development, said.

The company has had a small clinic in Bellevue, near 148th Avenue Northeast and Northeast Eighth Street, but “we had only been open one to two days per week for the past couple of years,” Wavra said.
