Tommy Kraft of Bellevue has received the Washington State Honors award for his academic achievement. Because he is in the top 3 percent of those who won the Washington State Honors Award in his congressional district, he has been invited to apply for the national Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship. He’ll be attending UW next year to study aerospace engineering.

Kraft will graduate June 19 from the online public high school, Insight School of Washington, in an in-person ceremony in Kent.
