The John Howie Restaurant Group is hoping to contribute at least $15,000 to Japanese disaster relief.

On Friday, the Executive Chefs of Adriatic Grill (Tacoma), John Howie Steak (Bellevue), Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar (Bellevue and Seattle locations) and SPORT Restaurant & Bar, along with proprietor John Howie, will host a “Chefs for Japan” charitable dinner at the The Shops at the Bravern in Bellevue.

The 5-course meal, of which each course will be paired with wines, is limited to 100 guests and priced at $100 per person. All of the proceeds will go to help feed victims of the twin catastrophes, the result of one of the largest earthquakes ever recorded followed by the massive destruction of a tsunami.

The fundraiser will also include 10 raffle packages.
