Cross country runners from around the KingCo Conference kicked off the season with the KingCo Jamboree Class Race at Lake Sammamish State Park on Wednesday.
Runners competed against athletes in their grade only, with Bellevue High School sporting multiple winners.
Casey Warendorf (11th grade) and Emilie Gilbert (12th) took first-place finishes on the girls side, while Max Bruch won the ninth-grade boys race.
