Bellevue (5-0, 3-0) VS. Interlake (0-5, 0-3), 7 p.m. Friday
The Wolverines welcome Interlake for homecoming as coach Butch Goncharoff’s squad looks to keep its mark perfect on the year. Interlake has yet to remain within reach of any of its five foes this year, most recently falling 44-7 to Mercer Island last week. The Saints, which have scored only 17 points in five games, will try to crack a Bellevue defense that has yet to surrender more than 14 points in a game this season and has held four of its opponents to seven points or less.
Sammamish (0-5, 0-3) VS. Liberty (2-3, 1-2), 7 p.m. Friday
Sammamish has also yet to win a game this season, and has been challenged on defense throughout the year, surrendering 104 points in its past two games combined, both lopsided losses. The Patriots enter the game off a 34-24 loss to Lake Washington and will try to make it two wins in as many weeks over the league’s 2A squads.
Newport (4-1, 1-1) VS. Roosevelt (3-2, 0-2), 7 p.m. Friday
The Knights moved back into the win column last week and evened their Crown Division record in the process with a 38-26 win over Ballard. A win over Roosevelt would be another boost before facing perennial power Skyline the following week. The Roughriders have dropped their last two games after beginning the season with three straight wins and have been outscored 71-13 the past two weeks.
