Walmart will soon begin hiring approximately 90 associates for its new Neighborhood Market located in Bellevue’s Kelsey Creek Shopping Center. The new store, slated to grand open in late June, will be the first Neighborhood Market in Washington state.
The temporary hiring center is located at 15650 NE 24St, Suite A, in Bellevue. Beginning Apr. 23, the office will accept applications from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Interested applicants can also apply online at https://hiringcenter.walmartstores.com/OnlineHiringCenter/initialPage.jsp or at kiosks within the Lynwood and Renton full-service Walmart locations.
Jeremy Winn will the store manager for the new Bellevue Neighborhood Market. He is a 10-year Walmart veteran who began as an hourly associate in Springfield, Ore. He will direct operations, performance and customer experience.
“Getting the opportunity to manage the first Walmart Neighborhood Market in Washington is very exciting,” said Winn. “Along with providing quality new jobs with career opportunities, this store will be a solution for folks who want healthier, more affordable food options close to where they live and work.”
Seeking to hire for both full- and part-time positions, Winn said that associates are needed to work in all areas of the new store, including supervisory roles. Once hired, the Walmart Neighborhood Market team will begin preparing for the store’s grand opening.
Walmart offers eligible part- and full-time associates healthcare insurance, a 401(k) plan and profit sharing contributions, store discount cards, stock purchase programs and life insurance. Additionally, associates are eligible for company performance-based bonuses.
