Drivers can expect overnight delays on I-405 in Bellevue this weekend

It’s a busy weekend on I-405 as crews close several lanes and ramps in Bellevue for major highway construction. The weekend closures are weather dependent in order to pave and paint new lane stripes and may be rescheduled for the next available dry night.

Friday, Sept. 18: Crews will close two lanes on southbound I-405 from Main Street to I-90 with lane closures scheduled at 8 p.m. and midnight, and a lane on northbound I-405 at SE Eighth Street at 10 p.m. All lanes will reopen at 5 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19. Crews will also close the following ramps from midnight to 5 a.m.:

— The on-ramp from SE Eighth Street to southbound I-405.

— The off-ramps from southbound I-405 to eastbound and westbound I-90.

Saturday, Sept. 19: Crews will close three lanes on southbound I-405 from Main Street to I-90 with lane closures scheduled at 8 p.m., 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 20. Crews will close the carpool lane overnight on northbound I-405 between NE Fourth Street and SR 520 from 9 p.m. to 10 a.m. and the carpool lane on southbound I-405 from SE Eighth Street to SR 520 from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m. Crews will also close the following ramps overnight in Bellevue:

— The on-ramp from Coal Creek Parkway to northbound I-405 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

— The off-ramp from northbound I-405 to SE Eighth Street from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

— The on-ramp to southbound I-405 from SE Eighth Street from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

— The off-ramp from northbound I-405 to westbound I-90 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.

— The on-ramps from NE Fourth Street and NE Eighth Street to southbound I-405 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.

— The off-ramps from southbound I-405 to SE Eighth Street and NE Eighth Street and southbound I-405 to eastbound and westbound I-90 from midnight to 5 a.m.

Sunday, Sept. 20: Crews will close three lanes on southbound I-405 from Main Street to I-90 with lane closures scheduled at 8 p.m., 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Crews will also close the following ramps overnight:
