Crews will close the Bellevue Way on-ramp to westbound SR 520 on the weekend, Jan. 24-27, to pave a section of the ramp and install lighting along the new Bellevue Way on-ramp to westbound SR 520. Work will be done from 11 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24 to 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27.A posted detour route will direct drivers to access westbound SR 520 at 108th Avenue Northeast.This work is weather-dependent and could be delayed in the event of a major storm.
Bellevue Way southbound will be closed 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday while a tower crane is erected at the Bellevue at Main construction site. The mixed-use building will be constructed by SRM Development and include 33,000 square feet of retail and commercial space, as well as 262 residential units.
Two northbound lanes will remain open Saturday with a flagger anticipated to stop traffic at times when trucks need access to the development site. Southbound traffic on Bellevue Way can access I-405 via Northeast Fourth Street and 112th via Main Street. The signed detour will be via 112th Avenue Southeast, but local traffic may use Main Street westbound to get to 102nd Avenue Southeast.
