Eastern Washington University will hold a graduation reception for its students who take classes at Bellevue College from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, June 17.

EWU President Dr. Rodolfo Arévalo and Board of Trustees members Paul Tanaka and Neil McReynolds will be on hand for the fifth annual event. This year, 113 Eastern students are eligible to earn their degrees from Eastern at Bellevue.

Through its university center on the Bellevue campus, Eastern provides students on the west side of the state of Washington an opportunity to earn their degrees without having to travel far from home.

The center’s upper division level courses lead to five of Eastern’s bachelor degrees: business administration, children’s studies, interdisciplinary studies, applied technology and psychology.

Eastern Washington University’s main campus is located in Cheney, within the Spokane metropolitan area, with additional learning centers in Bellevue, Yakima, Vancouver, Kent, Tacoma, Seattle, Shoreline and Everett.
