Brynne Whittaker, a 2010 graduate of International School in Bellevue,  placed fourth in the National Hearst TV News Competition. She is a radio-television journalism major at the Missouri School of Journalism and her stories competed against 79 others submitted by students from colleges and universities across the country. She qualifies for the semi-finals of the competition.
