Two-vehicle collision puts SUV through Hyatt Regency lobby

Bellevue Police say failure to yield the right of way at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue resulted in a two-vehicle collision that directed an SUV through the glass doors of the upscale hotel on Wednesday night.

According to police, a woman in her 20s exited the Hyatt’s parking garage westbound in a Toyota Camry and struck the rear tire of a second westbound vehicle driven by a woman in her 40s, causing her SUV to turn and crash through the hotel’s glass doors. It was stopped by an interior wall. No one was injured and neither driver was found to be impaired, police say.
