The Bellevue Planning Commission is holding a special meeting Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Bellevue College to launch the implementation phase for the Eastgate/I-90 land use and transportation project, which will guide development in the area for the next 20 years.
The project study was adopted by the City Council in April 2012, and seeks to promote a continuation of high employment within the corridor and provide mixed services for surrounding neighborhoods. Guest speakers during Wednesday’s special meeting are Ray White, vice president of Bellevue College, which is within the Eastgate/I-90 corridor, and Pat Callahan, CEO of the Urban Renaissance Group, a real estate investment firm.The meeting will be held 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in Room D106 at the Bellevue College, adjacent to the library.
