Oscar Alvin Roeszler was born April 7, 1918 in Ashley, N.D., to Jacob and Lydia Roeszler.
On June 1, 1942, Oscar enlisted in the United States Army and served during WWII in the South Pacific. After the war he relocated to Seattle.
He married Gladys Lucille Margaret Destner in Seattle on May 21, 1947.
He is survived by his sister, Celia Berg of Wahpeton, N.D.; daughters, Kay Kruse of Bellingham and Camille Peterson of Seattle; two grandsons, and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
He was buried with military honors, next to his wife, at Tahoma National Cemetery.
