Chef John Howie will serve up a Thanksgiving feast for needy families at Seastar again this year – the 12th year in a row. The restaurant provides a full three-course meal, and the whole Seastar — crew members, family and friends — get involved by volunteer their time on Thanksgiving as servers, cooks, and dishwashers.

More than 500 guests will be served through Bellevue LifeSpring, Hopelink in Redmond and Bellevue, Olive Crest, Redmond YWCA, and The Sophia Way.

Howie recently was honored by Secretary of State Kim Wyman with the highest civic honor at the state level, the NASS Medallion. The award is given for John Howie Restaurant Group’s commitment to philanthropy.
