Sex. Lies. Violins. A cast of all-Seattle actors dives into the behind-the-scenes life of a fictional string quartet in Opus at Seattle Repertory Theatre. The play is inspired by violist-turned-playwright Michael Hollinger’s own quartet experiences.

Opus opens in previews Oct. 30 and plays through Dec. 6 in the intimate Leo K. Theatre. Tickets are available through the Seattle Rep box office at 206-443-2222 as well as online at www.seattlerep.org.

In the play, the Lazara String Quartet reunites for the gig of a lifetime at the White House after a messy break-up. With a new, young, female member in the mix, tempers flare, relationships crumble and new ones bloom.
