The Bellevue Police Department will hots its annual National Night Out Against Crime event from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5.
Held at the Crossroads Mall next to the Farmers Market, the event provides residents the opportunity to learn about organizing neighborhoods to fight crime; heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; generate support for local anti-crime efforts; meet Bellevue police officers and view police vehicles and equipment; and strengthen neighborhood spirit and cooperation.
A Child Safe I.D. program also will be offered.
