Sunday is the deadline to donate bikes to be sent to Ghana.

The main form of transportation in Ghana is walking and the lucky ones who own a bike can save hours in the day and devote that time to crop tending, which produces more food for their families or to sell at market, going to school or spending more time with their families. The ARAS Foundation annual bike drive collects and sends these bikes to needy families.

ARAS will host a bike drive at Sammamish City Hall (801 228th St. SE) Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers, as well as donations are needed.
