Sterling Realty Organization (SRO) and the Danz Foundation have agreed to be the lead donors for the Inspiration Playground PLAY FOR ALL Campaign with a $300,000 contribution. The contribution was announced April 9 during the Rotary Club of Bellevue’s weekly meeting.
The club is coordinating the playground’s $4.3 million capital campaign. It has partnered with the city of Bellevue to help fund and build what will be a truly inclusive outdoor play environment at the Bellevue Downtown Park.
The new Inspiration Playground will have a universally accessible design and feature sensory-rich play experiences and equipment suitable for all ages and abilities. It also will provide opportunities for all kids to socialize and play together not only for exercise and unstructured fun, but also to help understanding and acceptance
An estimated six hundred supporters of Bellevue Rotary will gather together at the Meydenbauer Center on Saturday, May 11, to raise funds for this year’s beneficiary, Inspiration Playground and the Bellevue Rotary Foundation during its annual Foundation Auction.
