Bellevue was defeated 7-0 by Juanita in the state semi-finals Saturday morning in Lacey.
Allison Rhodes foiled the Wolverines for the third time this season, tossing a complete-game to propel her team into the 3A state title game later today. Rhodes struck out 12 while allowing three hits and also walking three batters.
The Wolverines then defeated Bonney Lake for the second time in two days to advance to the third-place game against two-time defending 4A champion Kelso, who moved to 3A this year. Kelso won that game by a final score of 11-6 to finish third in the tournament. Juanita finished their run with a win over Bainbridge in the title game.
Bellevue Christian in consolation final
The Vikings fell to Chimacum 6-4 in the semi-finals and will meet Meridian today for third place in the 1A baseball tournament.
