McKee Building | Eastside Heritage Center

The McKee Building, at Main Street and 101st.,had six retail units and housed several different businesses over the years, including Younger’s Mints, the post office, Mrs. Roger’s Variety Store, the Puget Sound Power and Light offices, Robinson Motors, English Centre Gifts and Maynard’s Drug Store.

The original building was built it 1924. It has since been demolished. The Parkside apartment building is in that location now.
