Interlake 54, Highline 24
Sarah Anderegg scored 25 points to help Interlake win the Burien Holiday Classic with a 54-24 win over highline.
Anderegg was named the MVP of the tournament. Litia Ngauamo added nine points for the Saints. Interlake improved to 6-3 on the season with the win.
No. 3 Newport 52, No. 6 Mercer Island 40
Class 4A No. 3 Newport received a game-high 21 points from senior guard Betsy Kingma to beat Class 3A No. 6 Mercer Island 52-40 in a non-conference matchup.
Newport (8-0) trailed 13-10 after the first quarter but out-scored the Islanders (7-3) 20-8 in the second.
Caitlin Bennett added 12 points for the Knights.
Jae Shin scored 13 points to lead Mercer Island in the loss.
Boys basketball
No. 4 Bellevue 47, Inglemoor 36
The Wolverines rallied from a 15-4 first quarter deficit to beat Inglemoor 47-36 and clinch an appearance in the championship game of the Les Schwab BC Christmas Classic against Squalicum of Bellingham.
Bellevue outscored Inglemoor 14-4 in the second quarter to get back in the game. Nate Sikma led all scorers with 14 points. Aaron Bright added 12 for the Wolverines (9-0).
Eric Bryant had 12 points for Inglemoor (5-2).
Monroe 40, Bellevue Christian 26
Slava Ulanovskly scored a game-high 10 points as Monroe knocked off Bellevue Christian 40-26.
The Vikings (5-4) played without leading scorer David Downs, injured in Tuesday’s loss. Chris Pattison led Bellevue Christian with nine points.
Monroe (2-6) led 12-2 after the first quarter.
Sammamish 93, WJ Mouat (B.C.) 70
Six different Totems scored in double figures as Sammamish won the opening game of the MEI Invitational in Pitt Meadows, B.C.
Duncan Dickerson scored 22 points to lead the Totems (8-2) in the win. Brady Anderson scored 14, Daniel Wruble had 13, Anthony Do added 12, George Valle scored 11 and John Steinberg scored 10 to round out the Totems in double figures.
Hazen 61, Newport 48
R.J Magar scored 21 points and Dewit Kasa had 16 as Hazen knocked off Newport 61-48.
Cole Wiper led the Knights (1-7) with 11 points in the loss. Hazen improved to 6-2.

Boys basketball
No. 4 Bellevue 70, Kentlake 39
Aaron Bright scored 32 points as No. 4 Bellevue beat Kentlake 70-39 at Bellevue College in the Christmas Classic.
Bright also had six steals, five assists and two rebounds in the win for Bellevue (8-0). Will Locke added 16 points, four rebounds and four steals and Nate Sikma had nine points and 11 rebounds.
The Wolverines played Inglemoor in the second game of the classic on Tuesday. That result was not available as of press time.
Squalicum 77, Bellevue Christian 52
David Downs scored 12 points but was injured in the first half as Squalicum downed Bellevue Christian 77-52 in the first game of the Christmas Classic at Bellevue College.
Jake VandenBrink, a 6-foot-8 center, scored 14 points to lead the Vikings (5-3) in the loss.
Newport 63, Bishop Blanchet 47
Cole Wiper scored 17 points and Jake Hillyer added 11 as Newport picked up its first win of the year with a 63-47 victory over Bishop Blanchet.
Victor King added 10 points in the victory for Newport (1-6). Rex Nelson scored 22 points in the loss for Bishop Blanchet (1-6).

Sarah Anderegg scored 27 points and Litia Ngauamo added 17 as Interlake beat Fife 57-39.
Margo Parker added eight points for the Saints (5-3).
