The Bellevue Christian Vikings weightlifting team put together a memorable performance at the Washington State High School powerlifting meet on May 14 at Snohomish High School. Athletes competed in the squat, bench and deadlift events. Jensen Tarbert (123) took third place in her weight division, tallying 605 total pounds in the three lifts. Baylie Hartman (148) took sixth place in her weight division, tallying 610 total pounds in the three lifts. Becca Jewett (148) and Kylie Goo (123) earned seventh place in their weight classes. In boys action, Trevor Paulson (132) nabbed fifth place and Alex Irizarry (181) finished in sixth place in his weight class.
