The Fred Meyer Fund has awarded $8,500 in grants to area nonprofit organizations.

The Interlake High School Booster Club was awarded $3,000 to purchase football equipment. The Lake Hills Elementary PTSA received $3,000 for art supplies, library books, PE equipment and math support supplies. Hopelink was awarded $2,500 to operate the bread van for Northshore Emergency Services.
