The Gulf Oil Spill is another example of what happens when government regulations are weaken or repealed. The financial crisis, though few are willing to admit it, took place because all the regulations put in place after the Great Wall Street Crash of 1929 were repealed by conservatives who seem to only like government when they need bailing out or, in the case of the Gulf Oil Spill, have the government help clean up their mess.
Once again ordinary working people who have no say in making
decisions will end up paying for the bulk of the clean-up.
P.S Forgot to mention conservatives also like going to war.
