Snow is on the way in the mountain passes and already in southwest Washsington.
An expected storm hit Portland, Ore., on Wednesday has caused officials to issue a storm watch for the Washington Cascades.
Clark County, Wash., and Portland received up to 4 inches of snow Wednesday, making driving difficult there.
The storm watch here is through late Thursday. Heavy snow is expected in the Cascades this morning with 6 to 12 inches expected there.
Snow levels will start around 2,000 feet Thursday morning and rise to over 5,000 feet on Thursday night.
