Seattle cyclists and biking enthusiasts can spin for a cause at the area’s first indoor charity cycling event this fall in Bellevue.
The Seattle affiliate of Young Survival Coalition (YSC) will host its inaugural Tour de Pink fundraising event from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23 at The Bellevue Club.
The two-hour, indoor team relay ride will be led by Victoria Hunt, recognized as Trainer of the Year by King 5’s Best of Western Washington.
Team captains can recruit as many as seven cyclists to work together and raise funds to support young Seattle women facing breast cancer. Riders have an option participate in half-hour or hour cycling shifts.
Registration is $25 per rider and riders must be 18 years or older. For those unable to attend the day of the event, a virtual rider option is available.
YSC offer resources, connections, and outreach so women feel supported, empowered and hopeful. Since its first meeting in 2002, the organization has provided a supportive environment for over 160 young women with breast cancer in the Seattle area.
