Laing a voice of reason

Bellevue residents should elect Aaron Laing to City Council to stop Seattle's undue influence at the Bellevue city borders, to better represent each neighborhood and to protect our property rights.

Bellevue residents should elect Aaron Laing to City Council to stop Seattle’s undue influence at the Bellevue city borders, to better represent each neighborhood and to protect our property rights.

Aaron is a voice of reason during highly pitched debates over rail alignment, a dedicated principled community leader with a keen ability to articulate what is best about Bellevue, with a skill to clarify key issues.

While appointed to Bellevue Parks & Community Services Board from 1991-1999, I actively participated in city government, assisting our outstanding elected City Council members. It’s our opportunity to vote for timeless qualities and shared core values that made Bellevue what it is now by electing Aaron Laing.

Aaron has committed to holding the line on taxation during this recession and will work to prioritize city spending on projects that improve public safety and neighborhood livability.

Our City Council election faces an onslaught of unprecedented outside political influence. Stop the hostile takeover of Bellevue by special interests. Instead, support the qualified candidate with a clean campaign – Vote for Aaron Laing.
