Rainier Group Investment Advisory has hired Michelle Rubesch as director of portfolio management. Rubesch will manage client relationships in addition to overseeing portfolio management practices as a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee. She will also play a key role in developing new client relationships for the firm.

Rainier Group’s headquarters are in Bellevue.

Previously, Rubesch was chief investment officer and equity strategist for Perkins Coie Capital Management in Seattle.
