Scott and Christina Dudley will explore the American Dream and how it affects people personally as part of the 8TH Annual Literary Event at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 18 at First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue.

Scott Dudley and Christina Dudley both taught literature at Stanford University. Scott is senior pastor at the church. Christina is the author of the novels “Everliving,” “Mourning Becomes Cassandra,” “The Littlest Doubts” and “Mia and the Magic Cupcakes.”

A freewill offering will be received to support the church’s library ministries.
