The Legislature should keep the faith with the voters by protecting I-900 and the Performance Audit Program.
The performance audits recommendations are producing a ratio of $10 saved for every $1 spent, an excellent return. To help reduce the $9 Billion short fall in proposed spending, enacting legislation that follows the recommendations of the performance audits is an
excellent idea.
It will be hard to make these decisions. However, this is why legislators ran for office and why they were
elected. They should do the best for the taxpayers of Washington.
