Four Sammamish players scored in double digits as the Totems knocked off Newport 74-65 in non-league action.

The Totems improved to 1-0 on the year with the win. Victor King led the Knights (0-1) with 18 points in the loss. Cole Wiper scored 12 points for Newport.

Interlake 53, Granite Falls 29

Sarah Anderegg scored 10 points and Erin Kelly and Margo Parker each chipped in nine as Interlake beat Granite Falls 53-29 in Bellevue.

Litia Ngauamo scored seven points and Tara Ghassemikia added six for Interlake (1-0).

Peyton Spencer led Granite Falls with 11 points and Elizabeth Matalomani scored eight and had nine rebounds.

Highline 33, Sammamish 18

Alana Lopez scored 11 points and Sophia Locklear added 10 to help Highline knock off Sammamish 33-18 in a non-conference opener for both teams.
