Diane Hoffman

Diane Marie Hoffman of Medina died April 10, 2009 after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 51.

Mrs. Hoffman was born July 3, 1957 in Seattle to Thomas and Joanne Falsetto. She graduated in 1975 from Bellevue High School where she played on the volleyball team.

She worked at the Medina Grocery Store and later became a bookkeeper for an Albertson’s Grocery Store.

She and her husband, Gary, were married Feb. 23, 1980 at Grace Lutheran Church in Bellevue.

Diane and Gary shared interests in their full-time hobby of caring, breeding and showing Abyssinian Cats. They were known internationally for their dedication to the health and improvement of the breed.

She is survived by her husband; their children, John Hoffman and Annamarie (husband Tony) Fox of Bellevue; parents, Thomas and Joanne Falsetto of Kenmore; and siblings, Steve Falsetto of Virginia, John Falsetto of Lynnwood, Sharon Hummer of Bellevue, Dave Falsetto of Wenatchee, and Marybeth Falsetto of Lynnwood. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rita Falsetto Whalen.

A funeral mass was said Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial followed at Holyrood Cemetery, Shoreline. Friends are invited to share memories and sign the family’s on-line guestbook at www.flintofts.com.
