Bellevue resident Oksana Krumm has organized a local recital with pianists Natalya Ageyeva and Loretta Brown to raise money for her participation in the Breast Cancer 3-Day 60-mile walk, which takes place Sept. 11-13.
The recital will take place Aug. 14 from 7-9 p.m. at the Bellevue Sherman & Clay store, located at 1000 Bellevue Way Northeast. Suggested donation at the door is $20, and the venue seats 80 people.
Proceeds from the event will support breast cancer research, screening, and treatment through the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.
Krumm has raised $810 toward her goal of $2,300. Her mother received help from the Susan G. Koman Foundation while battling breast cancer.
