Bellevue’s parks department will host a public meeting 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, at the North Bellevue Community Center to take input about what a new park should look like on a 1.65-acre site in the Bridle Trails neighborhood.

The site was recommended by the Bridle Trails Community Club to be its second park project funded by a 2008 parks and natural areas levy measure that put $2.5 million into neighborhood parks and open spaces. The property is located at 4432 140th Ave. N.E., south of the Bellevue Golf Course, near 4.1 acres of city-owned wetlands. The city will be gathering public input as it works toward developing a master plan for the new park.

The NBCC is located at 4063 148th Ave. N.E. For more information, contact Scott Vander Hyden at 425-452-4169 or Svanderhyden@bellevuewa.gov.
