Highlight: Slowed at the start of the season by injury, Drangnell, a Swedish exchange student, has scored three goals in two games for the 5-1-1 Wolverines, who sit atop the KingCo Conference.

Favorite class: History

Favorite athletic moment: Winning the Swedish P1 league with my old team Brommapojharna (Sweden) U17.

Favorite athlete: Zlatan Ibrahimovic because he grew up in the poorest neighborhood in Sweden and made it to Serie A. It really shows you that you can go as far as you want if you fight for it.

Dream profession: I haven’t figured it out yet. I want to travel the world and be young as long as possible. So I guess time will show.

Jessica Barry

Sophomore, Newport

Softball

Highlight: Barry went 2 for 4 with four RBIs in Newport’s 8-0 win over Mount Si on March 27. The Knights are 5-2 overall this season.

Favorite class: Math

Favorite athletic moment: Probably my grand slam in districts last year. It was really good timing and also the first grand slam I’ve had. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough to get us to state but it was a good end for my freshman season.

Dream profession: I have no idea. I want to go to college and probably do something with business.

Personal file: 4.0 GPA; 3-sport athlete; my teammates call me Hollywood, thanks to my sunglasses.
