The Bellevue City Council appointed residents to the Planning and Environmental Services commissions at its meeting Tuesday.
Jay Hamlin, 23, who holds a degree in urban planning from the University of Washington, was appointed to the Planning Commission. Hamlin fills the position vacated by James Bach.
Ticson Mach, who holds a degree from the University of Washington in civil engineering, was appointed to the Environmental Services Commission, filling the position vacated by Francois Larrivee.
The Planning Commission reviews and proposes amendments to the city’s chief planning document, the Comprehensive Plan, and advises the council on amendments to the plan.
The Environmental Services Commission advises the council on water, wastewater, storm and surface water and garbage programs.
