Interlake dominated the girls hoops edition of the Crossroads Cup, taking down Sammamish 49-23.

The Saints led 22-14 at the half and held the Totems to only nine points in the final two periods combined.

Cassidy McDermott’s double-double of 19 points and 15 rebounds paced Interlake while Marta Mueller added nine points.

Morgan Mincy was the high scorer for Sammamish with seven points and Natsumi Naito finished with six.

Bellevue 46 Mercer Island 28

Bellevue jumped to an early lead against Mercer Island and exploded in the third quarter to defeat the Islanders 46-28.

Sophomore Kate Holmes led the way with 16 points for the Wolverines and Katie Savard ended the night with 12.

No Mercer Island player finished the game in double figures as Bellevue outscored the visitors 19-7 in the third quarter to extend the lead well beyond reach.
