The KingCo Conference’s top players will once again participate in Friday’s second annual Comcast All-Star Challenge at Bellevue College, beginning at 4 p.m.
The event will feature four games – two girls and two boys – showcasing the best KingCo has to offer.
Seniors will play seniors, while underclassman will play underclassman.
Coaches include Sammamish’s Wes Newton and Bellevue’s Chris O’Connor on the boys side and Newport’s Travis Whitaker on the girls.
The girls underclassman game tips off at 4 p.m. and is followed by the girls senior game at 5:30 p.m. The boys underclassman game is set for 7 p.m. and the boys senior game will be played at 8:30 p.m.
Games will be broadcast on Comcast’s On Demand. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students with ASB and seniors.
Local participants on the boys side are Interlake’s Ricky Aaron (senior boys), Sammamish’s Daniel Wruble (senior boys), John Steinberg (underclassman boys) and George Valle (underclassman boys), Bellevue’s Ian Gordon (senior boys), Will Locke (underclassman boys), and Nate Sikma (underclassman boys).
Girls participants are Newport’s Randi Boseman (senior girls), Betsy Kingma (senior girls), Caitlin Bennett (senior girls) and Chanel Cambronero (underclassman girls) and Interlake’s Sarah Anderegg (underclassman girls).
