Japanese sale set Aug. 24-25

The third annual All Things Japanese Sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 24-25 at the Japanese Cultural & Community Center of Washington.

 

The third annual All Things Japanese Sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 24-25 at the Japanese Cultural & Community Center of Washington.

Hosted by organization’s Hosekibako: Japanese Resale Shop, this rummage sale features one-of-a-kind Japanese items including lacquer-ware, ceramics, dolls, kimono, books, and more. Prices start at 25-cents. Proceeds from the sale will go toward preserving, promotingand sharing Japanese and Japanese American culture and heritage through cultural programming and events for the community.

A sneak-peak preview will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Aug. 23. Admission is $25. Registration for the preview sale is accepted by mail, telephone, and online at http://www.jcccw.org/events-programs/all-things-japanese-sale-2013.html until Aug. 22.

The center is located on 1414 South Weller Street just off of Rainier Ave South in Seattle.
