UPDATE: Police have found Wesley Duncan “safe and sound,” according to police spokesperson Ofc. Seth Tyler.

ORIGINAL STORY: Police say a developmentally delayed Bellevue man remains missing as of Friday after leaving his Eastgate residences nearly a week ago, however, credit card records and surveillance footage confirms Wesley S. Duncan is alive.

Duncan, 50, was reported missing by his sister Thursday morning and was last seen leaving his residence Sunday. He does not own a phone or vehicle, and is described as having the mental capacity of an 11-year-old and requires medication for seizures.

Because of his mental capacity, Duncan is considered vulnerable, police state, and is still being sought to be reunited with his sister. There is also concern about the frigid temperatures at night.

Duncan is 5-foot-nine-inches tall, 160 pounds, with blue eyes and balding, dark blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue long-sleeve shirt, black jeans and brown hiking boots.

If anyone has seen Duncan or knows of his whereabouts, they are asked to contact 9-1-1.
