Drivers should plan for long delays through downtown Newcastle from Monday August 10 through Monday August 17.

Paving work on the city’s new Transit Center will reduce Coal Creek Parkway to one lane in each direction at the intersection of Newcastle Way.

Southbound delays are expected to be especially bad during the afternoon commute, and drivers are urged to give themselves plenty of extra time.
