We are residents of the Somerset community, living around a cul-de-sac. Recently, on the island of the cul-de-sac, some damage to the shrubbery was incurred when soil samples were garnered for a future project. I contacted the city of Bellevue, which in turn, relayed the concern to Puget Sound Energy.
Subsequently, I was put in touch with two great PSE representatives, who turned out to be absolutely delightful to work with and truly went out of their way to correct the situation.
They respected and welcomed my input and suggestions and bent over backwards, as it were, to make sure that we were happpy. The result of the work done revealed an island with a brand new face, much nicer than before the damage!
During the process, there was a slight misunderstanding regarding the choice of plants. PSE made the correction and the alternate plants were delivered later that same day.
Because the soil was disturbed by the later plantings, there was a need for a small amount of beauty bark. One of the representatives went out of her way to bring us the bark that we distributed.
Albeit I tried to be fair and reasonable regarding my expectations, it turned out my every wish was realized.
Both of these PSE employees were wonderfully professional, accommodating, efficient — and a lot of fun. Both were a joy to work with.
PSE’s reactions and response was exemplary. Far too often, utilities are criticized, demonized and not given the credit for a job well done. Thank you, Puget Sound Energy and the city of Bellevue, for all your hard work and diligence.
