Carol M. Donaldson

Carol, a 50 year Bellevue resident, passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 14, 2014, in Eugene, Oregon, at the age of 91.

She is predeceased by her husband Paul. She is survived by her sister Delma Dishman, her daughters Jane Donaldson (Dave) and Kay Smith (Dave), her five grandchildren and three great-grandsons.

For over two decades, Carol enjoyed her volunteer work at Overlake Memorial Hospital, beginning in 1961 at the new 56-bed community hospital. She worked in the cafeteria, and later in the Department of Pastoral Care, putting in over 10,000 hours of her time because, in her words, she liked helping people.
