John Arthur Kvarnstrom

John Arthur (Jack) Kvarnstrom

November 30, 1935 – March 26, 2013

Jack was a man who exempliÿ ed integrity, hard work, honor and commitment. He ÿ ercely loved his Heavenly Father, family, the Bible, baseball, and woodworking. He touched many lives not always by what he said, but what he did even when he was not aware anyone was watching. He retired after 37 years at the Boeing Company spending the rest of his years being there for his family and completing fine woodworking projects as he was able. He is survived by his wife Dana of 54 years, four children, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He will be missed but left a legacy of example of his core values which will never go away. One of Jack’s favorite Winston Churchill quotes: “To perceive a path and to point it out is one thing, but to blaze the trail and labor to construct the path is a harder task.” We are all diminished when a man of honor passes on. Memorial service will be held 1:00pm Friday, April 5, 2013 at the Foothills Baptist Church (10120 Issaquah-Hobart Rd. SE, Issaquah, WA 98027) Remembrances may be shared at www.sunsethillsfuneralhome.com
