Gerald “Jerry” Florence

Jerry was born in Chicago on November 30, 1928 and left us on January 25, 2015. He moved with his wife to Bellevue in 1957.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Mae Florence, and his sister, Micalyn Allen. Jerry is survived by his daughter, Amy Florence, and granddaughter, Rachel Auestad.

He graduated from Northwestern University after serving in the USMC. Jerry worked at Boeing for 36 years as an engineer and FAA DER. He enjoyed aviation, classical music and musical theatre.
