Robert William Dupar, Sr.

Robert William Dupar, Sr., 86, of Palm Desert, CA passed away January 12, 2013. Born in Seattle February 14, 1926, Bob attended Roosevelt High School, the University of Washington and Cornell University. He worked for Western International Hotels from 1938 to 1972, last serving as Vice President and on the Board of Directors. He then ran the Holiday Inn in Bellevue, WA until 1997. He served as board member for numerous charities, including 38 years with Swedish Medical Center. Bob and Jessie were avid boaters, and very active at MBYC. Bob is survived by his wife of 63 years Jessie Dupar; daughters Cathleen (Gregg) Oliver and Patricia (Mark) Meredith; son Robert W. (Brigid) Dupar, Jr.; sister, Marilyn, brothers Thomas and Kenneth; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Life will be held March 10th at 2pm at MBYC in Bellevue.
